A rugged nation in Central Asia, Kyrgyzstan officially the Kyrgyz Republic shares the snowcapped Tian Shan with China. Some 75 percent of the land is mountainous. Landlocked and mountainous, Kyrgyzstan is bordered by Kazakhstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west, Tajikistan to the southwest and China to the east. Its capital and largest city is Bishkek. it maintains a unitary parliamentary republic.
In their mountain fastness, the nomadic Kyrgyz, a Turkic-speaking people with loose ties to Islam, bred horses, cattle, and yaks for centuries. Kyrgyzstan, is a country located in Central Asia.
The Kyrgyz came under tsarist Russian rule during the 19th century, and thousands of Slavic farmers migrated into the region.A country of striking beauty and towering peaks, Kyrgyzstan gained independence in 1991 with the collapse of the Soviet Russia. In 1998, Kyrgyzstan became the first former Soviet Russian Republic to Join the World Trade organization.Kyrgyz make up two thirds of the population, and there are large Uzbek and Russian minorities. Raising livestock still remains the main agricultural activity today.

Climate
The climate varies regionally. The south-western Fergana Valley is subtropical and extremely hot in summer, with temperatures reaching 40 °C (104 °F) The northern foothills are temperate and the Tian Shan varies from dry continental to polar climate, depending on elevation. In the coldest areas temperatures are sub-zero for around 40 days in winter, and even some desert areas experience constant snowfall in this period.

Cost of Education and Living Expenses
Kyrgyzstan is the cheapest option for any one choosing to do Medicine abroad in English medium. The study of international students at Kyrgyzstan state universities is again subsidized by the Kyrgyz government by 50%. Average tuition fees per academic year amount to 1500 - 2000 US $ depending on the specialty, university, language of instruction and city. Average accommodation fees at university hostel amount to 20-25 US $ per month, the cost of life and health insurance is 100 US $ per year. Monthly expenses for meals amount to 80-100 US $ on an average. Eventually average annual expenses of a student for tuition, accommodation, insurance and meals in Kyrgyzstan amount to 3000-4000 US $. This is precisely why higher education in Kyrgyzstan is affordable by the middle class Indian
On getting admission in any of the medical universities, the students are given the option to either stay in college campus or take a room in PG, nearby college. A seat in college hostel costs less (20USD/month) than staying in a private accommodation which will cost at least 50USD/month. However, all necessary facilities are provided in both types of accommodation. Laundry and transport costs are extra.Since Country has a fluctuating weather throughout the year, both air conditioners for summers and room heaters and blankets for winter season are provided to the students.
Admission Process
On satisfying all the requirements of the Kyrgyzstan Educational System, as well as the Universities', the student is expected to go ahead with the admission process. The seats are?limited and hence are given strictly on a first come first served?basis and depend on the final?discretion of the University as per the availability and marks obtained in the 12th standard examination or equivalent.

The student would then have to contact NISSION to submit all his admission documents along with a registration deposit either offline or ONLINE (to avail special discount offers). Please note that NISSION does not require any original documents to be submitted at this early stage. You need to submit or upload only notary verified and attested copies of all the documents.
The NISSION would then process the application and then forward the same to the University for approval and admission. The University then would further process the application and if satisfied will issue a confirmation letter in the name of the student confirming the application and the seat at the University. NISSION will intimate you regarding receipt of admission letter from the University. The student will have to pay the admission processing charges to NISSION before collecting the Admission letter.
(In case the student does not have a passport, at the time of application, this letter of admission is useful to submit to the passport authorities so that the passport can be issued on an urgent basis)
On receipt of the admission letter, which is emailed or downloaded or sent in original by the University, the student would be expected to ensure that a copy of first (personal details) page of the passport is submitted at the earliest for the Visa invitation. Visa invitation processing time for Kyrgyzstan will be 30 working days from the receipt of copies of passport.
The University normally couriers the Original Visa invitation to NISSION Office.
Documents Required for Study Visa
Once the visa invitation is ready in our office, the students will be informed to submit their original passports along with a signed Kyrgyzstan Visa application form and Medical test report. On the basis of these documents Kyrgyz student VISA will be stamped in the passport at Kyrgyzstan embassy in New Delhi which will take 7 to 10 days from the receipt of original passport by NISSION.
Once visa stamping is done, the student is expected to complete his packing and make all necessary arrangements to travel as per the date intimated by NISSION. He/she should also verify that all the necessary documentation has been completed to be taken along to the University in KyrgyzstanEligibility for Study
1. The student must have PASSED the higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examinations after a period of 12 years’ study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.
2. The student must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics at the qualifying exam. (40%in case of OBC, SC and ST candidates)
3. He / She should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the foreign University
